DO NOT LISTEN to any HUMAN being that say these things won’t happen. They are only created beings still controlled by their inherited sinful nature who think they know better than God what tomorrow brings.
Listen to James 4:13-15 “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit. Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”
All things written on our pages are backed with relevant Scriptures. GOD’S WORD WILL COME TO PASS WRIGHT TO THE LAST IOTA.

JESUS CHRIST BREAKS THE SEVENTH SEAL OF THE SCROLL
Revelation 8:1-2 “When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.”
However we believe that the main reason for the half an hour of silence is to allow another angel to add more incense to the prayers of the martyred Tribulation Saints (see Revelation 6:9-10), the sweet aroma reaching the throne of God. This extra incense added to the prayers of the Saints will add extra severity to the coming judgements. Next the angel fill the censer with fire (most likely brimstone) from the altar and throws it down to the earth. This is followed by followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Announcing the wrath of God is coming.
Now the scene moves to the SEVEN ANGELS who receive SEVEN TRUMPETS and with the sounding of the SEVEN TRUMPETS new judgements are announced.
Looking again at our chart below we can see the the SEVENTH SEAL reveals the SEVEN TRUMPETS.
As we go further we will see that the fourth trumpet will announce the three woes and the seventh trumpet reveals the seven bowls, which we will discuss on our Topics page “The Seven Bowls”.
Revelation 8:1 “When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.”
What is the meaning of the half an hour silence in heaven when the Lamb breaks the SEVENTH SEAL?
During the half hour of silence John saw seven angels standing before God and SEVEN TRUMPETS are given to them. It doesn’t say who gave the trumpets to them. On the altar before the throne are the prayers of the Saints. We believe these Saints are the Tribulation Saints who die during the FIRST THREE AND A HALF YEARS of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. They are still in their “soulish” body awaiting the resurrection at the Second Coming of Jesus. The Church is already in heaven in their resurrected bodies which they received at the time of the RAPTURE.
Revelation 6:10-11 and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
The first part of the verses above which is in red are the PRAYERS of the Saints and the last part of the verses above which is in red is the reason why they are there. They want vengeance but have to wait until the other martyrs are killed in the SECOND THREE AND A HALF YEARS of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD which is also known as the GREAT TRIBULATION or JACOB’S TROUBLE.
An other angel comes and stands at the altar where the PRAYERS of the Saints are and he is given much incense which he puts in his golden censer which is in his hand, He then adds the PRAYERS of the Saints to the incense and the smoke of the incense together with the PRAYERS of the Saints go up before God out of the angel’s hand.
Some suggest that the “Saints” who’s prayers are on the altar, include the Church Age Saints, but that is incorrect as the Church Saints are around the throne of God in their resurrected bodies and not under the altar.
After this half and hour interlude the seven angels that have the trumpets prepare themselves to sound the trumpets.
Revelation 8:6 “And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.”
This is the time that events on the earth and in the cosmos will start to heat up under the coming wrath of Satan and most of all the terrifying but righteous wrath of God Almighty and the Lamb.
Remember what Jesus says in Matthew 24:21-22 “For then there will be A GREAT TRIBULATION, SUCH AS HAS NOT OCCURRED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD UNTIL NOW, NOR EVER WILL. Unless those days had been cut short, NO LIFE would have been saved; but FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT THOSE DAYS WILL BE CUT SHORT.”
This WILL happen as these are the WORDS of Jesus and we know of course that Jesus IS the WORD OF GOD and GOD’s WORD will NEVER FAIL
John1:1 In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God.
Revelation 19:13 “He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME is called THE WORD OF GOD.

The First Trumpets sounds:
Revelation 8:7 The first sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
Let us look back to Revelation 6:9-10 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAD BEEN SLAIN because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and AVENGING OUR BLOOD ON THOSE WHO DWELL ON THE EARTH?”
We believe that these prayers of the martyrs, asking God to AVENGE their BLOOD, are on the altar where the fire is and mixed with their blood that was shed, the fire and the hail stones, are thrown down on those dwelling on the earth.
Could the meaning of A THIRD OF THE EARTH mean the Middle East, parts of Europe, Africa and Asia where probably the most martyrs will be during the Tribulation period. We don’t know as the Scriptures don’t tell us. The martyrs will most likely come from all around the world.
We can see how the wild fires consume large parts of the world in the last few years. Note especially ALL the green grass will be burned up. This will most like contribute to the FAMINES of the THIRD AND FOURTH SEALS of Revelation 6:5-8. If all the green grass is burned up then the cattle and sheep etc have not much food to eat and many will die setting off a shortage of meat to eat for the world population and leading to famine.

Revelation 8:8-9 The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood. and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.”
John describes the “something” that was thrown into the sea like a great mountain burning with fire. Many writers have speculated on what that “something” might be and come up with suggestions like meteors, asteroids, volcano that collapses into the sea etc. However Scriptures don’t tell us what this “something” is. After doing some research I couldn’t find anything nor any event that could turn seawater into blood, except by God’s power. The sea life would die very quickly when the water is supernaturally turned into blood like in Moses miracles. Please note that John doesn’t say a third of all the ships in the world are destroyed but a third of the ships in the sea. Is it the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea or the Persian Gulf? The Mediterranean Sea handles approximately 20% of the world cargo ships to the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean via the Suez Canal.) Time will tell. Believers won’t be on earth to find out, praise the Lord.

Revelation 8:10-11 The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
Many debates have taken place about what the “GREAT STAR” that falls from heaven might be. Is it a literal star or an angel? Lets look at each of these two.
As an example let us look at our sun, an average size star. The sun’s diameter is about 109 times larger than Earth’s, and it would take approximately 1.3 million planet Earths to fill up the sun’s entire volume. Imagine if this “great star” would hit the Earth. I don’t think there would be much left of the Earth.
If the “great star” is a “great angel” then we could interpreted it as a messenger from God, to bring about this judgment from God on the unbelievers. This angel could just touch one third of the rivers and the springs (aquifers under the earth) of waters and turn them into wormwood. If a great star fell on the rivers on one side of the earth then it would be difficult to fall on the rivers on the other side of the earth. A great angel could touch one third of the rivers around the earth very quickly.
The strength of the wormwood poisoned water kills many thirsty people. This judgement will also kill Tribulation believers ( people that believed in Jesus after the RAPTURE) and not just unbelievers. At this stage war will have broken out, famine is ravishing the countries and here wormwood is poisoning one third of the rivers and springs of water underground that spring to the surface, enter into rivers and wells, poisoning many who drink of it.
These are just OUR THOUGHTS on “the great star”. We can NOT be dogmatic about this.

Revelation 8:12-13 The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way. Then I looked, and I heard an EAGLE flying in midheaven, SAYING with a loud voice, “WOE WOE WOE to those who dwell on the earth, because of the REMAINING BLASTS of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
We know this is all terrible news we are telling you, but believe us, we are telling you this with joy in our hearts! Why? Because our loving, merciful and graceful God and Father is WARNING you, CALLING you and GIVING you the OPPORTUNITY to escape these terrible times of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD, which is coming upon this earth VERY VERY soon. DON’T let anybody tell you that our words are only words from scaremongers. These are the WORDS of the Lord Jesus Christ, God Himself.
Matthew 24:21-22 “For then there will be a GREAT TRIBULATION, such as HAS NOT OCCURRED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD UNTIL NOW, NOR EVER WILL. Unless those days had been cut short, NO LIFE would have been saved; but FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT those days will be CUT SHORT.”

A GREAT TRIBULATION is coming! Such a GREAT TRIBULATION has NEVER occurred on this earth before NOR will such a GREAT TRIBULATION ever occur again!!! Do you understand??? God’s wrath will be poured out on the wicked unbelieving world!!!
It is NOT all BAD NEWS. Here is some VERY GOOD NEWS. God wants you to be WITH HIM in heaven and NOT IN THE GREAT TRIBULATION.
If you repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you will NOT go through the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD but will be drawn up by Jesus unto Himself in the air at the RAPTURE.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For THE LORD HIMSELF will DESCEND FROM HEAVEN with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain WILL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS and so we shall always be with the Lord.
John 14: 2-3 “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. “If I go and prepare a place for you,I WILL COME AGAIN and RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF that where I am, there you may be also.” This is all very good news.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
Your CHOICE!!!! You EITHER believe GOD, Who’s WORD will NEVER fail, or will you believe wicked, unbelieving created human beings who are blinded by Satan and DON’T KNOW and REJECT the TRUTH. The CORRECT choice will see you with the Lord in heaven when all these terrible times will take place. The WRONG choice will have you go through the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD and end up in the LAKE OF FIRE for eternity.
Remember! Jesus IS GOD, is the WORD, is the TRUTH.

All of the many people that die each day didn’t set out expecting to die. They were on a journey to a certain destination. However the LAST DAY OF THEIR LIFE as written in God’s Books, had arrived and their time was up. If they had been thinking of trusting in the Lord the next day it would have been TOO LATE.
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And IN YOUR BOOK were ALL WRITTEN THE DAYS that were ORDAINED FOR ME, When as YET THERE WAS NOT ONE OF THEM.

GOD IS CALLING YOU! ARE YOU READY TO REPENT AND BELIEVE IN JESUS?
From the pictures below depicting Revelation 6:12-16 we can see that God is ready to pour out His wrath upon an unbelieving world. The first picture shows a great earthquake, usually mentioned on its own to announce great judgement is coming from God. The next four pictures depict great cosmic events happening. We believe the stars falling from heaven are the defeated fallen angels and Satan being thrown out of the heavens by the Archangel.
Revelation 12:7-9 “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were NOT STRONG ENOUGH, and THERE WAS NO LONGER A PLACE FOUND FOR THEM IN HEAVEN. And the GREAT DRAGON WAS THROWN DOWN, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; HE WAS THROWN DOWN TO THE EARTH, and HIS ANGELS WERE THROWN DOWN WITH HIM.“
The next picture shows the sky split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up and God, for a moment, gives the unbelieving world a glimpse of the Heavenly Throne. At the same moment amazing things happen to the earth surface.
Revelation 6:14 “The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, AND EVERY MOUNTAIN AND ISLAND WERE MOVED OUT OF THEIR PLACE..”
When the tectonic plates start moving, (some are between 50km to 250 km thick) upheaval will happen. In this instance there will be a large earthquake, mountains will move and come down or rise up as will island disappear and new islands will arise. While these events are happening and the sky splits apart, men, in utter fear will try to hide in caves and among the rocks, asking the rocks to fall on them and to hide them from the ONE Who sits on the throne in heaven and from the wrath of the LAMB. They WILL know that there IS a GOD and yet, as you will soon see, they WILL NOT REPENT, that is how evil and hardened their hearts are.
After the sixth seal there is an INTERLUDE when four angels of God hold back the four winds which have been devastating the earth, and another angel from God, ascending from the rising of the sun, who has the seal of the Living God commands the four angels to hold back the four winds until he has SEALED the 144,000 WITNESSES of God in their FOREHEAD. These are the witnesses that will bring about one of the greatest revivals the earth has ever seen. They will be supernaturally protected during the first three and a half years of the Seven Year Tribulation Period. They will be twelve thousands of the Tribes of Israel. Revelation 7:4 “And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:”
The four winds represent divine judgements in all sorts of forms and the four corners of the earth North, East, South and West mean the whole earth is affected. Having the four angels hold back the four winds gives a respite from the judgements and allows for the 144,000 Jews to be sealed with the seal of the living God.
Then in Revelation 8:1 Jesus breaks the seventh seal and we see seven angels standing before God and who receive seven trumpets. These are angels that stand actively ready to execute very swiftly any judgement from God.
Now we start to see the direct judgement of God on the unbelieving world. Please note that in the first four trumpets the judgements are always poured out on a third of the relevant destinations of the judgements. That shows the amazing GRACE and MERCY of God to leave open to the unbelieving world the opportunity to accept the Gospel and sparing the REPENTANT unbelievers from the immediate coming wrath of God and the Lamb. Although a great multitude will do so the vast majority on men will REFUSE to REPENT and TO BELIEVE in Jesus. This multitude of people that WILL BELIEVE in Jesus do so as a result of the witnessing of the 144,000 WITNESSES, the TWO WITNESSES just outside Jerusalem and the ANGEL flying overhead declaring the EVERLASTING GOSPEL.
God’s GRACE is displayed as He gives the unbelievers another opportunity to repent and believe. God’s MERCY is displayed as He withholds His wrath of the “GREAT TRIBULATION” and offering them eternal life instead of the wrath.
On those who reject this final offer of MERCY and GRACE, God will send a DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they MAY BELIEVE what is FALSE, because they REJECTED the TRUTH. They WILL BELIEVE the Man of Lawlessness who will be revealed after the RAPTURE and who is coming with the activity of Satan, 2Thessalonians 2:9-11 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send UPON them a DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they will believe what is FALSE,
That time of God’s wonderful MERCY and GRACE will come to an end.
AS A RESULT of the fourth trumpet judgement a THIRD of the sun, the moon and the stars are struck, most like by another mighty angel, and they are darkened and do by not shine for a THIRD of the day and of the night.
God’s mercy, grace and patience are displayed by not making the darkening 100%. The complete darkening will come the FIFTH TRUMPET judgement.
Again many have speculated what may cause these cosmic and astronomical events. Again the Scriptures don’t give explicit answers. Although we must always remember that NOTHING is too hard for our God. Knowing what the earth will go through when the Lamb (Jesus) opens the first six Seals of Revelation 6:1-17 and especially this part of the sixth Seal Revelation 6:14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and EVERY MOUNTAIN AND ISLAND WERE MOVED OUT OF THEIR PLACES, there will be many earthquakes and volcanic eruptions around the world as the tectonic plates move dramatically.
Whatever darkens the sun and the moon it was already determined in ETERNITY PAST according to God’s wonderful plan for the AGES. HE is in CONTROL.

Revelation 9:1-12 Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw A STAR from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to HIM. He opened the bottomless pit, and SMOKE WENT UP out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and THE SUN AND THE AIR WERE DARKENED by the smoke of the pit. Then OUT OF THE SMOKE came LOCUSTS upon the earth, and power was given them, AS the SCORPIONS of the earth have power. They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but ONLY THE MEN who DO NOT HAVE the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were NOT PERMITTED TO KILL ANYONE, but TO TORMENT for five months; and their torment was LIKE the TORMENT OF A SCORPION when it stings a man. And in those days MEN WILL SEEK DEATH and will NOT find it; they will LONG to die, and death FLEES from them. The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle. They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months. They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon. The FIRST WOE is past; behold, TWO WOES are still coming AFTER THESE THINGS.
The judgements of the first four trumpets are bad enough. But the judgement of the fifth trumpet is a big notch higher in intensity. THE FIRST WOE of the THREE WOES the eagle was announcing has eventuated during Revelation 9:1-11 as the next verse says “THE FIRST WOE IS PAST; behold, TWO WOES ARE STILL COMING AFTER THESE THINGS.”
The Star here is most likely a FALLEN ANGEL as the key of the bottomless pit was given to “HIM” (a personal pronoun). God execute His own will and can use good angels, fallen angels and demonic spirits to execute His judgements on an unbelieving world. That he was given a key most likely means that these demonic locusts are kept in the Abyss prison for their appointed time to deliver God’s judgement. These demonic locusts have a deadly sting like the scorpions on the earth, but are also capable to destroy all grass, any green thing and trees. They are commanded to sting and torment all people on the earth that have not been sealed with the seal of God in their foreheads. Those that have been sealed are of course the ones that have believed the witness of the 144,000 Jewish witnesses and the two witnesses in Jerusalem. They are now part of the TRIBULATION SAINTS.
Note that the key was given to the angel, not like the angel in Revelation 20:1 who had the key of the Abyss in his hand, meaning he had the authority and power from God to unlock and lock the Abyss. The chain again, is a spiritual binding power from God and Satan has no power over it. The angel here in Revelation 9:1 was given the key to the Abyss meaning he didn’t have the authority himself but was given the authority to open the Abyss. Once opened the demonic entities appear from the thick dirty smoke to torment the earth. Again these demonic locusts are GIVEN the authority to torment people but not to kill. ALWAYS REMEMBER, God is ALWAYS in control and can use ANY of His creation to perform judgements or blessings according to His perfect and holy will. PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT.
They were NOT PERMITTED TO KILL ANYONE, but TO TORMENT for five months; and their torment was LIKE the TORMENT OF A SCORPION when it stings a man. And in those days MEN WILL SEEK DEATH and will NOT find it; they will LONG to die, and death FLEES from them.
The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle. They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months.
These locusts are a vast army of demonic entities and are held in the BOTTOMLESS PIT or ABYSS. Some scientists try to dispel the “BOTTOMLESS PIT” by saying that there is no such shaft without a bottom. They don’t understand that it must be a “spiritual” ABYSS as it holds prison “SPIRITS” and not physical bodies. If it was a physical place in the earth the demonic spirits could just move through the walls etc. We take from Scriptures that this spiritual bottomless Abyss must be with the realm of the earth. We can also glean this from the place called SHEOL which is the abode of the dead. This abode of SHEOL was divided in two compartments, one called HADES where the spirit and souls of the unbelievers go and the other is called PARADISE where the spirits and souls of believers go. The two abodes were separated by a great impassable gulf. When Jesus died on the Cross and was buried He descended into Paradise and emptied it, taking the spirits and souls of the Old Testament believers up to heaven were Paradise is now located in the Third Heaven, where God dwells. See our TOPIC PAGE “THREE HEAVENS” Many authors have tried to explain what these locusts may represent, but let accept it that the Scriptures don’t give us an explanation and we therefor have accept what is written and nor speculate. They are demons as they have over them a king, the ANGEL OF THE ABYSS and his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon. Now this angel is most likely a high ranking fallen angel, whom God uses to execute judgement on the unbelievers.
THIS WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE RAPTURE
DON'T LET ANYBODY TELL YOU OTHERWISE
Revelation 9:13-21 “Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates. And the four angels, who HAD BEEN PREPARED for the HOUR and DAY and MONTH and YEAR, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And this is how I saw in the vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke and brimstone. A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths. For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm. THE REST OF MANKIND, who were NOT KILLED by these plagues, DID NOT REPENT of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they DID NOT REPENT of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.”
The riders on the horses had breastplates the colour of FIRE, (RED) and of HYACINTH, (LIGHT BLUE) and of BRIMSTONE, (SULPHUR – YELLOW).
This is what comes out of the mouths of the horses, FIRE, SMOKE and BRIMSTONE.
That are the three colours of brimstone, It is a BRIGHT LEMON-YELLOW when it is solid, it melts into a BLOOD-RED LIQUID, and it burns with a BRIGHT BLUE FLAME.
The combination of the three plagues, fire, smoke and brimstone form a very toxic atmosphere and many people will die from this and also the fiery brimstone.
We have now arrived at the HALFWAY MARK of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD when THE REST OF MANKIND do NOT REPENT. Thus UNBELIEVERS will be persecuting TRIBULATION SAINTS (BELIEVERS). Many of these of these TRIBULATION SAINTS (BELIEVERS) will hide, feed and care for persecuted orthodox Jews. These will be the SHEEP at the Judgement of the SHEEP AND GOATS at the end of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD when Jesus descends at His Second Coming at the end of the BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON.
The UNBELIEVING GENTILES and the BELIEVING GENTILES are of course those that remain alive at the end of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. You can read about this Judgement in Matthew 25:31-46 or go to our “TOPICS PAGE – JUDGEMENTS”
THE JUDGEMENT OF THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS
Is this angel the angel of Revelation 8:3 who stood at the altar holding the golden censor in which he puts the large amount of incense that was given to him and which he adds to the prayers of the saints on the altar? The smoke of the incense and prayers go up before God. Of course we are speculating here as the Scriptures don’t tell us to whom the voice belongs. This voice commands the angel that sounds the sixth trumpet, to release the four angels bound at the great river Euphrates. This angel of course has great authority as he is releasing the four FALLEN ANGELS that have been bound at the river for a long long time. The timing, “the HOUR and DAY and MONTH and YEAR” was decreed by God in eternity past. Here AGAIN we can see that ALL things HAPPEN in God’s PERFECT TIME, not one second to EARLY and not one second to LATE. We also can take from this that the four bound angels are FALLEN ANGELS, as good angels don’t need to be bound. This binding is a spiritual binding as physical chains could not hold spiritual forces bound. These FALLEN ANGELS are “bound” by the power of God in a spiritual confinement and unable to use their demonic powers until God’s appointed time.
Some authors write that these FALLEN ANGELS don’t do the killing, but they just haven’t read the Scriptures properly as verse 15 clearly states that they do the killing. Revelation 9:15 And the FOUR ANGELS, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, WERE RELEASED, so that THEY WOULD KILL A THIRD OF MANKIND.
They will be killing ONE THIRD of mankind, (on today’s population that will be over TWO AND A HALF BILLION people) by using a very well organised demonic army of TWO HUNDRED MILLION demonic creatures to kill them. This must be world wide as the verse says “AND THE REST OF MANKIND” who were NOT KILLED by the plagues of this army, DID NOT REPENT.
We won’t speculate what these demonic creatures represent, but they won’t be a human army. The billions of people will die as a result of the three plagues that come out from these demonic creatures, namely FIRE, SMOKE and BRIMSTONE.
Some authors say that the Asian countries could gather an army of two hundred million soldiers and thus they believe this could be a human army from the far east. One of the problems this theory has is, the river Euphrates hasn’t dried up yet to allow the armies to march quickly to Israel. That drying up of the Euphrates has still to come in later at the outpouring of the sixth bowl in Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on THE GREAT RIVER, THE EUPHRATES and its WATER WAS DRIED UP, so that the way would be prepared for the KINGS FROM THE EAST.
We have now reached the MIDWAY POINT of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD.
The next two chapters describe what happens during the SECOND WOE, starting with an INTERLUDE right on the half-way mark of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD.
It comes at the end of the sixth Trumpet. This first THREE AND A HALF YEAR PERIOD of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD is called by Jesus “THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS” or “THE BEGINNINGS OF BIRTH PAINS FOR WOMAN”. Matthew 24:8 “But all these things are merely THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH PANGS.” The King James Version has this verse as “ALL THESE ARE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS”.
This period started with the SIGNING of a SEVEN YEAR COVENANT by the MAN OF LAWLESSNESS (later to become the ANTICHRIST) with many. He is the coming LITTLE HORN who emerges from the REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE which is divided in to TEN ECONOMIC BLOCKS (“kingdoms [horns] that have “kings” in charge that NEVER had a kingdom.) Revelation 17:12 ““The TEN HORNS which you saw are TEN KINGS who HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A KINGDOM, but they receive AUTHORITY AS KINGS with the beast for one hour.” The kings can NOT be a current European countries as all have rulers “kings” already. No it will be a world wide REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE divided into TEN ECONOMIC BLOCKS which will be given a leader (KING) each.
THINGS THAT HAPPEN DURING THE INTERLUDE
Revelation 10:1 I saw ANOTHER STRONG ANGEL coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire;
Many commentators try to make this angel to be the Lord Jesus Christ, because of the description. It is the same type of angel as we find in revelation Revelation 5:2 And I saw a STRONG ANGEL proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?”
Also this scene is on the earth as the STRONG ANGEL comes down from heaven. This is another reason that this STRONG ANGEL is not Jesus as Jesus is not coming down to earth to do a quick job and then go quickly back to heaven before He comes down again at His Second Coming. This is completely unbiblical.
There is no more need for an Theophanic appearance of the eternal Word, God the Son, as at His incarnation He received His own earthly body of Jesus, Son of Man. This is a Strong Angel and NOT Jesus Christ.
This angel has an interesting item in his hand. Revelation 10:2 “and he had in his hand a LITTLE BOOK WHICH WAS OPEN. He placed his right foot on the SEA and his left on the LAND;”
The little book was open because the things written in it had to be revealed as we can read later on in the chapter. What is this little book?
The answer we find in Daniel 12:4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”, where Daniel had just been told things that will happen in the end times, but he wanted to know the outcome of these events.
So he asked for an explanation Daniel 12:8 “As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?” This is the answer of the angel. Daniel 12:9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.”
The words about the end times are concealed in a (LITTLE) BOOK that was SEALED in Daniel’s time and is OPEN in the hand of the STRONG ANGEL here in Revelation 10:2. for John to proclaim to many as we can read further down. We will get to this in a moment
This STRONG ANGEL then places his right foot on the sea (the Mediterranean Sea??) and his left foot on the land, thus most likely facing towards Jerusalem.
This placing of his feet confirms God’s authority over the whole earth.
Then this STRONG ANGEL cries out with a LOUD voice, as when a lion roars, Revelation 10:3 “and he cried out with a LOUD voice, AS WHEN A LION ROARS; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.”
When a lion roars those in close vicinity take notice! When this STRONG ANGEL cries out with a LOUD VOICE LIKE A ROARING LION those who hear take notice.
After the STRONG ANGEL cries out there are SEVEN PEALS OF THUNDER that utter their VOICES.
The STRONG ANGEL doesn’t really say anything but cries out with a loud roaring voice, most likely to bring attention to the voices of the SEVEN PEALS OF THUNDER that now utter their voices.
The Scriptures do not say what of who the seven peals of thunder are. We could look at Revelation 8:5 “Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed PEALS OF THUNDER and SOUNDS (VOICES) and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Here God’s judgement is avenged for the prayers of the saints. Are the voices the voices of the thunders? Again the Scriptures are not saying what they are.
What we do know that what the peals of thunder do say must be very terrifying, because when John was about to write down these words the voice of God tells him that the words that are spoken by the peals of thunder, have to be concealed. Revelation 10:4 “When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, “SEAL UP the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken and DO NOT WRITE them.”
John then sees the STRONG ANGEL who stands on the sea and the land lifting his right hand to heaven and swears by God THAT THERE WILL BE DELAY NO LONGER and that when the the SEVENTH ANGEL sounds the SEVENTH TRUMPET then the MYSTERY OF GOD is finished, as HE PREACHED to HIS SERVANTS the PROPHETS. Revelation 10:5-7
Here again is a reason why the STRONG ANGEL is NOT JESUS as the angel swears by GOD, that is somebody HIGHER than him. If it is JESUS then He would swear by HIMSELF.
When the SEVENTH TRUMPET sounds the MYSTERY OF GOD is finished. What is the MYSTERY OF GOD?
Let us now look what the MYSTERY OF GOD is.

The CENTER of ALL that is the MYSTERY OF GOD is JESUS CHRIST.
Exodus 3:14 “GOD said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Remember, when God speaks He speaks through His WORD and the WORD is JESUS CHRIST.
Here we have an immediate prove that JESUS IS GOD.
In the above verse in Exodus God says He is I AM. In John 8:58 we read, Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
Revelation 1:8 “I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:17 “When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST,”
Revelation 22:13 “I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the FIRST and the LAST, the BEGINNING and the END.”
Here are the beautiful I AM statements of Jesus:
The first four are statements declaring He is GOD.
The first declaration is in John 8:58 Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
Here Jesus claims clearly that He is GOD
The Jews realised Jesus was stating that He IS THE ETERNAL GOD as they picked up stones to stone Him because He made that statement. John 8:59 “Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.” How Jesus hid Himself from them has been up for debate for a long time, but let us just accept what the Scriptures say, “JESUS HID HIMSELF”.
The second declaration is in John 18 where Judas and his cohorts of Romans, Pharisees and Scribes came in the Garden of Gethsemane to arrest Him. John 18:4-6 “So Jesus, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, “Whom do you seek?” They answered Him, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He *said to them, “I AM He.” And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them. So when He said to them, “I AM He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
Here the power of His Deity just threw the mob back. A mere man would not have oozed such a Godly power.
The third declaration we find in John 4 where Jesus is talking to the woman from Samaria at the well. At the end of their discussion the woman said to Jesus that the Messiah is coming. Take note of the powerful answer Jesus gives. This verse always make me cry from being in awe of Jesus. John 4:25-26 “The woman said to Him, “I know that MESSIAH is coming (He who is called CHRIST); when that ONE comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you AM He.”
Jesus declares that HE is the MESSIAH.
The fourth declaration we find in John 28 where Jesus again emphasises that He is God and that when He is “lifted up” (Crucified) people will know that He is God and that all He does is in perfect unity, harmony, and eternal relationship within the Trinity and in complete obedience to God the Father’s will. John 8:24 “So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I AM the bread of life”.
John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I AM the Light of the world”
John 10:7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I AM the door of the sheep.”
John 10:11 “I AM the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I AM the resurrection and the life”
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
John 15:1 “I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.”
Colossians 1:15 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.”
Colossians 1:16 “For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM.”
Colossians 1:17 “He is BEFORE all things, and IN HIM all things HOLD TOGETHER.”
Colossians 1:18 :He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.”
Colossians 1:19-20 “For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”
