THE SEVEN BOWLS
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
Dear readers, we just want to emphasise that the things you are going to read on this page will be frightening to you, but we write these things not to scare you but to warn you. These things we write here are the words of God Himself as given to us by the Apostle John who was commanded by Jesus to write these words in a book (Revelation) so that we could read them and take heed.
Now here are the special words of God to us regarding these words given to us by the Apostle John.
Revelation 1:3 “BLESSED is he who READS and those who HEAR the words of the prophecy, and HEED the things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Now God gives us three special COMMANDMENTS here to receive special BLESSINGS from God.
They are: We must READ, we must HEAR and we must HEED the words of the prophecy of the book of Revelation.
It is no good reading them or hearing them and say “Oh I don’t believe in all this. The world goes on as it always has done.” or “Oh well, if it happens it happens in the mean time I have a job to do, a family to look after etc. I will think about it”.
That is the wrong attitude. You MUST HEED the words you read or hear and act upon it as God says, the TIME IS NEAR and tomorrow may be too late.
The acting upon it is of course BELIEVE in JESUS as LORD and SAVIOUR, CONFESS that you are a SINNER, REPENT of your SINS and accept JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOUR.
Revelation 15:1-4 “Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished. And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and THESE WHO HAD BEEN VICTORIOUS OVER THE BEAST, AND HIS IMAGE AND THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God. And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! “Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN REVEALED.”
In these first four verses and before we move to the SEVEN BOWLS OF WRATH of God, we look at what John sees another scene in heaven In verse one John sees the SEVEN ANGELS, who are great and marvelous and who have the SEVEN PLAGUES, but we don’t know whether John sees these SEVEN ANGELS in the Temple of heaven, or just in a separate scene as we are not told. WE believe that John sees them IN the Temple as in verse six the SEVEN ANGELS are coming OUT of the Temple. Then in verse seven the four living creatures give the SEVEN ANGELS the SEVEN GOLDEN BOWLS full of the wrath of God. That means they now have the SEVEN PLAGUES and the SEVEN GOLDEN BOWLS full of the WRATH OF GOD. Each bowl of wrath will now also contain the allocate plague and these will be poured out together at God’s command. In Revelation 16:1 a loud voice from the Temple tells the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the SEVEN BOWLS of the WRATH OF GOD.” No doubt this loud voice is the voice of God as in Revelation 4:1.
He also sees, during the interlude, the SEA OF GLASS which he has seen in Revelation 4:8, but this time MIXED WITH FIRE and with a multitude standing on the glass, who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name. These are the martyrs of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD and we see these again in Revelation 20:4 after Satan is bound in the abyss for ONE THOUSAND YEARS (thus during the MILLENNIUM REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST). In this verse we read at the beginning that John sees thrones and they (the martyrs?) sit on them and that judgement is given to them. They will be resurrected after Satan is bound and they will sit on the thrones judging the SHEEP and the GOATS (the survivors at the end of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD) and the rule over the nations with Jesus Christ during His MILLENNIUM KINGDOM. (This is how we see it!)
We are now taking a look at the outpouring of the SEVEN BOWLS of the WRATH OF GOD over an unbelieving world.
Revelation 16:1 “Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and POUR OUT on the earth the SEVEN BOWLS of the WRATH OF GOD.”
Revelation 16:2 So the FIRST angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and it became a LOATHSOME and MALIGNANT sore on the people who had the MARK OF THE BEAST and who WORSHIPED HIS IMAGE.
When the angel pours out the FIRST BOWL all the people who have accepted the MARK OF THE BEAST and who WORSHIPED HIS IMAGE will be covered with the most foul and malignant sores o their bodies. Whatever way the evil world system of the Antichrist will use to place the MARK OF THE BEAST on the unbelievers who willingly accept the mark, it will cause these sors to break out on their bodies and many will obviously die from the plague. This is only the beginning of God’s wrath.

THE POURING OUT OF THE SECOND BOWL
Revelation 16:3 The SECOND angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it BECAME BLOOD like that of a dead man; and EVERY LIVING THING in the sea DIED.
The plague poured out by the SECOND angel is many times as bad as the SECOND TRUMPET plague, when one third of the sea turned into blood after a mountain was thrown into the sea (we believe this was only the Mediterranean Sea then) and it will kill EVERY living thing in the world wide sea. A big part of the human food chain disappears!!!!
The blood “like that of a dead man” (who has just died) is a darkish dull red. The smell will be very uncomfortable.
When the seas turn into blood it completely alters the water’s chemical and biological makeup resulting in the death of all living things in the ocean. It will not only removes a large part of the world’s food chain but it will also effect the weather etc.
THE POURING OUT OF THE THIRD BOWL
Revelation 16:4 Then the THIRD angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became BLOOD.
If the second plague is not bad enough by killing all the living things in the sea, thus removing a big part of the human food chain, then the THIRD plague is going to hit them even harder as the angel pours out the THIRD plague together with the wrath of God into the RIVERS and the SPRINGS of water. This is a terrible disaster as it means ALL the DRINKING WATER is turned into BLOOD.
Imagine what this if going to do to the mood of the unbelievers! They will be shaking their fists to God and curse His Name. They will be blaming and persecuting believers that have accepted Jesus as their Saviour during this TRIBULATION PERIOD and who will become martyrs as seen in Revelation 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who HAD BEEN BEHEADED because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
We now receive the reason for this plague from the ANGEL OF THE WATERS in Revelation 16:5-6 And I heard the ANGEL OF THE WATERS saying, “Righteous are You, who are and who were, O Holy One, because YOU JUDGED THESE THINGS; for THEY POURED OUT the BLOOD OF SAINTS AND PROPHETS, and You have given them BLOOD TO DRINK. They DESERVE it.”
Remember the souls of the martyrs in Revelation 6:9-10 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw UNDERNEATH THE ALTAR the SOULS of those who HAD BEEN SLAIN because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and THEY cried out with A LOUD VOICE, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, WILL YOU REFRAIN FROM JUDGING AND AVENGING OUR BLOOD on those who dwell on the earth?” Note the words in blue as the first word is THEY (plural) and the other three words A LOUD VOICE (singular).
Now we hear A VOICE (singular) from THE ALTAR which we believe is the ONE VOICE of the martyrs under THE ALTAR, confirming what the ANGEL OF THE WATERS said in verse 5 “YOU JUDGED THESE THINGS“ in answer to their cry for JUDGEMENT and VENGEANCE in Revelation 6:10.
Revelation:16:7 And I heard THE ALTAR saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are YOUR JUDGEMENTS.”
We believe “THE ALTAR” being the VOICE of the martyrs under THE ALTAR.

THE POURING OUT OF THE FOURTH BOWL
Revelation 16:8-9 The FOURTH angel poured out his bowl upon the SUN, and it was given to it to SCORCH men with FIRE. Men were scorched with FIERCE HEAT; and they BLASPHEMED the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they DID NOT REPENT so as to give Him GLORY.
We know how hot the sun gets in the latest heatwaves of 2026. These temperatures will be cool compared with what is just around the corner when the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD will start. The plagues of these bowls will take place during the last THREE AND A HALF YEARS of this period.
Combined with the first three plagues so far this will be a horrific time to be living on this earth.
Remember that if you are NOT a believers as yet, you are on the way to these horrible times and the LAKE OF FIRE. But God does NOT want you to go through these terrible times nor to the LAKE OF FIRE and determent a PLAN OF ESCAPE through the SALVATION He offers to you in His Son the LORD JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR AND GOD BEFORE He created anything. The beauty of all this is that HE is CALLING YOU RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT YOU ARE READING THIS.
Will you CALL on Him and accept this amazing FREE GIFT? He is waiting for your CALL.
Psalm 145:18 THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL WHO CALL UPON HIM, TO ALL WHO CALL UPON HIM IN TRUTH.

THE POURING OUT OF THE FIFTH BOWL
Revelation 16:10-11 Then the FIFTHangel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became DARKENED; and they GNAWED THEIR TONGUES because of PAIN, and they BLASPHEMED the GOD OF HEAVEN because of their PAINS and their SORES; and they DID NOT REPENT of their deeds.
This is now a chaotic scene! All those who have taken the MARK OF THE BEAST and WORSHIPED THE IMAGE are now covered in painful sores, no seafood, no drinking water and now total darkness and what do the do? They GNAW their tongues of pain and BLASPHEME the GOD OF HEAVEN.
This proofs that even under the most horrific and scary times they still DON’T REPENT NOR CALL ON THE LORD, THE GOD OF HEAVEN. Instead they stumble around in utter darkness. covered in malignant sores, scorched by the extreme heat of the sun, the tongues swollen from thirst as there is no drinking water and blaspheme the Lord God of Heaven.
SALVATION Do you want to go through this terrible time OR do you want to be with the Lord in Heaven for eternity before this all happens? DON’T let ANYBODY tell you that all this won’t happen!

THE POURING OUT OF THE SIXTH BOWL
Revelation 16:12 The SIXTH angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its WATER WAS DRIED UP, so that the way would be prepared for the KINGS OF THE EAST.
The river Euphrates is of course the north-eastern border of the the land God promised to Abraham.
Genesis 15:18-21 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt AS FAR AS the great river, THE RIVER EUPHRATES: the Kenite and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Rephaim and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.” Below you see a map depicting the area of the land God promised to Abraham in Genesis 15:18-21. This drying up of the river Euphrates prepares a way for the kings of the East to travel quickly to the middle east.
They come to fight the ANTICHRIST but when JESUS appears they will join the other kings of the world and turn their attention to fight JESUS.
These KINGS OF THE EAST will come to Israel to fight the ANTICHRIST and NOT JESUS CHRIST as a good number of authors/scholars have written or preached.
Daniel 11:44 “But rumors from the East……..” shows that the ANTICHRIST will hear that the kings of the east are marching with massive armies to fight him. But that is not all!!!
After the SIXTH ANGEL has poured out his BOWL on the great river EUPHRATES John sees more disturbing visions.
Revelation 16:13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the DRAGON and out of the mouth of the BEAST and out of the mouth of the FALSE PROPHET, three UNCLEAN SPIRITS like FROGS; for they are SPIRITS OF DEMONS, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the WAR OF THE GREAT DAY OF GOD, THE ALMIGHTY.
“LIKE FROGS” stresses that these demons are unclean spirits. They will possess some people through whom they perform miracles which will convince the kings of the world to gather their armies and move rapidly to the valley of Armageddon, most likely to fight the kings of the east, but really walking into the trap God has set for the WAR OF THE GREAT DAY OF GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, the BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON.
The armies are gathering to fight each other but as they fill the valley of Armageddon the sun turns into darkness and the moon into blood and the stars will fall from heaven. This is the moment Jesus appears with power and “great glory”. The “great glory” is of course His Bride, the Church, as His heavenly army because Scriptures clearly state that Jesus has given His glory to His Bride. John 17:22 “The GLORY which You have given Me I I HAVE GIVEN TO THEM, that they may be one, just as We are one;
Matthew 24:29-30 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the POWERS of the heavens will be shaken. “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with POWER and GREAT GLORY.“
The POWERS of the heavens are not dark demonic spiritual forces as they have already been cast down to the earth, but the a literal, physical, astronomical deconstruction of the universe’s physics. The stars will fall from heaven (disappear), the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. It will be pitch dark ready for the appearing of Jesus Christ and His Heavenly army in His full GLORY. Every island will flee away, and the mountains will not be found, meaning that the earth will be completely flat land, apart from Mount Zion and Jerusalem.
The armies forget their animosity and join together to fight the Lord and His heavenly army only to be destroyed by the WORD (two edged sword) coming out of the mouth of Jesus.
This will be an unimaginable battlefield scene with innumerable bodies of men and animal lying in the field with an amazing amount of blood flowing fulfilling the Scriptures.
God takes care of this as well. Listen to Revelation 19:17-18 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.”

This finale is wrapped up in Revelation 19:20-21 “And the BEAST was seized, and with him the FALSE PROPHET who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown ALIVE into the LAKE OF FIRE which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.”

THE POURING OUT OF THE SEVENTH BOWL
Revelation 16:17 Then the SEVENTH ANGEL poured out his BOWL upon the AIR, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.”
When the SEVENTH ANGEL pours out his bowl a loud voice is heard from the throne in the Temple which can only be the voice of GOD as He only can give commands to inflict judgement as the Scriptures clearly say in Romans 12:19 “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.” The voice says that “IT IS DONE” meaning that the pouring out of the SEVEN BOWLS of the WRATH OF GOD is now completed with the pouring out of the SEVENTH BOWL.
It is interesting to note that the SEVENTH BOWL, unlike the first SIX BOWLS that targeted specific areas like the land, sea, or sun, is poured out upon the AIR signifying a universal effect that encompasses the entire global atmosphere.
The results will enormously effect the whole earth in many unprecedented ways. If the previous plagues of the first SIX BOWLS aren’t devastating enough then fasten your seatbelts as what you are going to read next will HOPEFULLY AND PRAYERFULLY make you CALL UPON THE LORD.
Revelation 16:18-21 . And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, *came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe.”
Let us break these verses up and look at the severe plagues that are coming upon the earth.
THERE WILL BE FLASHES OF LIGHTNING AND AND SOUNDS AND PEALS OF THUNDER. This will not just be a heavy thunderstorm! This will be the STORMS OF STORMS.

THE CITIES OF THE NATIONS FELL
This won’t be just any other earthquake but the BIG ONE.
Never before has there been such a big earthquake.
Imagine ALL the cities of the world will fall, that is, destroyed by the big earthquake. There will be many deaths.
However, if you read the verse very carefully you will understand that the Scriptures DON’T say, the GREAT CITY (Jerusalem) will fall. It will be split into THREE PARTS.
Many scholars and writers believe that this “GREAT CITY” is Babylon. This can’t be so for the very reason that Babylon . the “GREAT CITY” will be destroyed. Here the Scriptures say that the GREAT CITY will be split into THREE PARTS.
Also, let us look at this verse again Revelation 16:19 The GREAT CITY was split into three parts, and the CITIES of the nations fell. BABYLON THE GREAT was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His FIERCE WRATH.
Now God’s wrath will not just split the GREAT CITY BABYLON into THREE PARTS but will completely destroy it.
We believe that the great city BABYLON is a SYMBOLIC METAPHOR of the religious, commercial and legal system of Babylon.
Let us look carefully at Revelation 17:1-18.
Revelation 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,”
We are not told which of the seven angels it is but from the context of the next verses it is most likely the sixth or seventh angel. However, we should not speculate because if God wanted us to know which angel it is He would have told us in His Word. “
This angel tells John that he will show John the destruction of the GREAT HARLOT, which we believe is the RELIGIOUS, COMMERCIAL AND LEGAL system of Babylon with which it has corrupted the world from the TOWER of BABEL up until she will be destroyed by the ANTICHRIST and the TEN KINGS.
The many waters of course are the peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues of the world during that time span. Revelation 17:15 And he said to me, “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are PEOPLES and MULTITUDES and NATIONS and TONGUES
Looking at the picture of the GREAT HARLOT we can see several imported points of interest. In his vision he saw the GREAT HARLOT sitting on a SCARLET BEAST full of blasphemous names, which we believe represents the sinful (Isaiah 1:18 ““Though your SINS are as SCARLET,”) , idolatrous, filthy pleasurable, murderous (drunk with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus and the saints Revelation 17:6) wickedly proud ( In the ancient Roman world, scarlet and purple were the costly dyes worn by emperors, soldiers, and the wealthy, representing proud, self-glorifying worldly empire) Satanic kingdoms from the TOWER OF BABEL up to destruction of the GREAT HARLOT.
It is understandable that the kingdoms of the world participate in the evils of this Great Harlot system, but Israel is supposed to keep them selves pure from this evil, but they too play the harlot with every part of the system. It is Satan’s attack on the nation God has chosen for Himself.
The second point of interest is that the beast has SEVEN HEADS which represent SEVEN HISTORICAL KINGDOMS that have subdued Israel.
Look carefully at the chart and at the head/kingdom 6 in purple which is the Roman Empire in John’s time, “THAT IS”, which then moves to the grey coloured Roman Empire that was subdued (but NOT DESTROYED) by the Germanic Tribes and is “THAT WA S NOT” and then arises in the these latter days (END TIMES) and appears as the Revived Roman Empire, the SEVENTH HEADS/KINGDOM (arising very rapidly NOW) coloured purple and is the the kingdom “THAT IS TO COME”. This will most likely appear just after the RAPTURE of the Church as a worldwide NEW WORLD ORDER divided into TEN ECONOMIC BLOCKS which will have TEN ADMINISTRATORS (KINGS) that not yet will have a kingdom’s authority or power UNTIL the MAN OF LAWLESSNESS is revealed, who will be the LITTLE HORN that emerges from within the ten kingdoms. He will be OF the SEVEN but will himself be an EIGHTH.
