Welcome to our exciting website proclaiming the blessed IMMINENT RAPTURE.
We will write in a simple layman’s language and not in a deep theologian’s style, so that most people will be able to understand things easily.
Many believers never knew about or misunderstood the Rapture because their pastors themselves didn’t know about the Rapture or were too scared to talk about the wonderful event, also called The Blessed Hope in the Bible.
The word Rapture is not found in the Scriptures but comes from the Latin word Rapiro (snatched away) which in the Greek Scriptures translates as harpazō. Two verses in the Scriptures use this word, namely Acts 8:39 where Phillip, after witnessing to the the Ethiopian Eunuch and baptising him was snatched away and the other verse is 1 Thessalonians 4:17 where the event of the Rapture occurs. We will come back to the latter in a moment.
So what is the Rapture?
The Rapture is the event when Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour will leave Heaven and comes into the air (our atmosphere) and will draw us (His Church/Bride – remember these will only be the true believers who are born again) unto Himself in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye and takes us home to our Father’s Home. Jesus Christ is currently working on the building up of the Church as the Father’s House consummating in the New Jerusalem.
There are many verses in the Scriptures that point to the Rapture, but three groups of verses are our favourites and we will look at these groups verse by verse.
ALL BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS, DEAD OR ALIVE, WILL TAKE PART IN THE RAPTURE.
The moment the Rapture call sounds, all the bodies of the born again believers that have died since Pentecost (the beginning of the Church) will be raised from their graves (either in the ground, at sea, in fire or wild creature like a shark or crocodile etc) as eternal bodies and are reunited with their spirit and soul that come in the air with the Lord Jesus (brings with Him). At the same moment all the bodies of the born again believers that are still alive when the Rapture call occurs, will be changed into eternal bodies and we are all caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, together with resurrected dead believers. What a wonderful and amazing moment and scene that will be!
THIS WILL ALL HAPPEN IN A TWINKLING OF AN EYE.

WHEN WILL THE RAPTURE HAPPEN?
We call it the IMMINENT RAPTURE because we strongly believe that the Rapture can happen any moment! A good number of books have been written and false religions have falsely predicted, that the Rapture would happen at a certain date. The date went by and the Rapture didn’t happen, giving unbelievers and scoffers ammunition to laugh at the true Church of born again believers that do believe in the IMMINENT RAPTURE.
2 Peter 3:3-4 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”
Many sincere believers in the Imminent Rapture proclaim that we don’t know when the Rapture happens, but we believe they are sincerely wrong.
READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY:
Matthew 24:6 and Mark 13:32 “But of THAT DAY AND HOUR no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
You see we can not put a date nor time on when the Rapture happens. It is IMMINENT.
Now we are going to show you that we CAN now WHEN the Rapture happens but NOT the DAY AND HOUR.
Let us turn to Ephesians 1:4 just as HE CHOSE US IN HIM before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.
Also John 17:24 “Father, I desire that they also, WHOM You HAVE GIVEN ME, be with Me where I am…”
And Colossians 3:12 So, as those WHO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN of God.
We could go on, but these will suffice for now.
What we mean with all these Scriptures is that God has CHOSEN a certain number of people before the foundations of this world were laid (from the Jews and from the Gentiles [non Jews]) and gave the to His Son as His Bride, His Church.
Here comes the crunch point!! The Rapture will NOT happen until that last person whom God has CHOSEN opens his/her heart and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. THAT is when the Church, the Body of Christ, the Bride is complete and Jesus will come and receive us unto Himself in the air. Jesus will NOT rapture an incomplete Bride / Church.
That is why we say we do know when the Rapture happens. We also say we DON’T know the DAY OR HOUR when this last person chosen by God will make that decision. This can happen ANY MOMENT and ANYWHERE in the world. THAT is why we say that we know when the Rapture will happen and we also say that the Rapture can happen ANY MOMENT and is therefore IMMINENT.
John 14:1-3
John 14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
John 14:2 “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
TROUBLED HEARTS
Imagine! Jesus had just told His disciples that one of them would betray Him, that He was leaving them soon and where He was going they couldn’t come. Finally He told them that they would deny Him. These disciples were troubled, so Jesus said to them………………
These were soothing words to these tough but disheartened men who would soon lose their Teacher, their Master, their Lord! But not for ever!
My Father's House
Jesus went on to tell His disciples that, while He was away, He would go and prepare a place for us in the Father’s House. There are many views on what the Father’s House is. We strongly believe that it is the Church, the Body of Christ and that we, the born-again believers are “a place” or “mansion”. A “LIVING STONE” in the New Jerusalem.
Hebrews 3:6 “but Christ was faithful as a Son over HIS HOUSE—WHOSE HOUSE WE ARE, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.”
John 14:2 “In My Father’s HOUSE are many DWELLING PLACES….”
We strongly believe that we, the Church, the Body of Christ, make up that HOUSE and are the DWELLING PLACES that Jesus is preparing as He works in our lives, grinding down the rough edges and change us into one of the perfect STONES (Dwelling Places) that make he NEW JERUSALEM.
The moment a person truly believes in Jesus Christ as his/her Saviour and becomes born-again the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will come and take Their abode within our hearts when the Holy Spirit enters out hearts. That is when Jesus starts preparing us as a “LIVING STONE”. We are now in the quarry of life and Jesus (God) is cutting, shaping, and polishing us to fit into the New Jerusalem He is building. We lose sight of this sometimes because we do not see the whole New Jerusalem coming together. When the Rapture has taken place we will see the completed work Jesus has been building.
The TRINITY will dwell in our hearts. In John 14:23 Jesus clearly states “WE (that is the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit) will come and make Our abode with him.”
We will go deeper into this in “The Father’s House page”. We are stones hewn out of the quarry of humanity to become “living stones” because of our trust for salvation in Jesus Christ alone the “Living Corner Stone”. On Him was the foundation laid by the prophets and the apostles
LIVING STONES
1Peter2:4-5 And coming to Him as to a LIVING STONE which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,
you also, as LIVING STONES, are being built up as A SPIRITUAL HOUSE for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
I WILL COME AGAIN
Jesus promised His disciples and all the people who will become BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS during the Church Age (more about this in our article “The Church Age”) that He would COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE His Church/Bride unto Himself and take us home to the Father’s House. This will happen when the Church/Bride is complete. When will that be? (You can read more about this in our article “The Church/Bride”. It will be THE RAPTURE.
ARE YOU ON "THE ONLY WAY"?
THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR:
NOTHING, no religion, no denomination, no good works/deeds, NOTHING can help you get into Heaven! Be very aware of this. Don’t think that because you were a very good church going person will get you to Heaven. No!
There is ONLY ONE WAY to get to Heaven!
That is: REPENT of your sins, belief that Jesus is the Son of God and sinless and that Jesus died on the Cross for your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. He then ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand side of God the Father, where He is our Mediator.
JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!
THE MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE RAPTURE?
Our second group of favoured Scripture verses that speak of the Rapture is in 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 where Paul is preaching to the believers (brethren) in Corinth and all born-again believers of the Church Age.
In verse 51 he tells us a MYSTERY! This is the mystery of the Rapture of which the Old Testament Jews had never heard (nor of the mystery of the Church – more about that in our article “The Church”).
Who taught Paul these doctrines? It was the best Teacher of all, the Holy Spirit during the 3 years he spent in Arabia (Galatians 1:16-17). Paul tells us in Galatians 1:2 “For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
In verse 51 Paul says that we shall not ALL sleep (that is die) but we shall ALL be changed.
At the Rapture we, all born-again believers from the day of Pentecost to the Rapture, will be changed from a physical body to a spiritual body.
This means that ALL born-again believers that are ALIVE at the Rapture shall NOT die, but shall be CHANGED from an earthly, physical body to a heavenly spiritual body. They will NEVER know physical death! We will disappear! Like the picture above depicts: Now you see me, now you don’t. At the left BEFORE the Rapture and at the right AFTER the Rapture.
The bodies of the born-again believers that died since Pentecost will be resurrected as spiritual bodies and their spirits/souls will come down from Paradise (more on Paradise in our articles “Paradise” and “body, soul and spirit”) to be united with their resurrected bodies. We who are still alive at the Rapture will be transformed from having an earthly perishable body to having a spiritual imperishable body. This has to happen. Our perishable bodies can NOT enter the spiritual eternity. We have to receive our spiritual body. In 1 Corinthians 15:42 Paul says “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;”. But at the moment of the Rapture many born-again believers are alive and will NOT know death. Their perishable(earthly) body will be changed into a imperishable (spiritual/heavenly) body, in a twinkling of an eye.
This will all happen at the same moment, when the dead believers’ spirit/soul receive their spiritual body and we who are still alive at the Rapture we will be changed and snatched up (Raptured) into the air to meet the Lord Jesus and no doubt many angels. What a wonderful meeting that will be. An amazing number of believers and an even more amazing number of Angels.
THE MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE
In 1 Corinthians 15:51 Paul explains the mystery of the Rapture. He says that at the very moment the Rapture occurs we shall NOT all sleep (born again believers that have DIED since Pentecost wen the Church began), but that many born again believers will be ALIVE on the Earth. Paul goes on to say that we will ALL be changed at that very same moment of the twinkling of the eye. What this means is that the bodies of the born again believers that have died (whether they are buried, lost at sea, or cremated) will be resurrected, changed into a spiritual body and re-united with their spirit and soul which have descended from Paradise into the air and the born again believers still alive will have their earthly/natural body changed into a spiritual body and are caught up (raptured) into the air where we all meet the Lord Jesus, Who will then take us all home to the Father’s House, the New Jerusalem.
HOW FAST WILL THIS HAPPEN?
In verse 52 Paul informs us that it will happen “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”
In the TWINKLING of an eye! How fast is that? Take a look at the picture at the left. First look at the left side where the person is still visible and then move your eyes to the right side where the person is no longer visible. That took a split second to switch your eyes from the left to the right. Now a twinkling of the eye is most likely 100 times faster!

THIS IS PANIC TIME!
Total chaos will engulf the earth as millions of born again believers will simultaneously disappear in a twinkling of an eye. Examples above are only a few that will occur. Doctors and/or nurses at the operating table will disappear or the patient may disappear. Teenagers will be looking for their parents or vice versa. There will be panic, terror and sadness. But not for long! The World Government (most likely in place by then and probably through the United Nations) will come up with some amazing explanations of what has just happened around the world. We won’t go into what these explanations may be just now. If you find yourself in the sad situation of being LEFT BEHIND then read the Topic “Left Behind?”. Now this is a VERY IMPORTANT WARNING!!! Read the SALVATION PAGE, find yourself a Bible before they all get confiscated and DON’T take the Mark of the Beast on your right hand nor forehead nor anywhere else on your body. Revelation 13:16
And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.......
OUR FAVOURED GROUP OF VERSES OF THE RAPTURE
Paul tells us to comfort one another with these words! What are these words? That we all go up together in to the clouds to meet the Lord Jesus Christ our Blessed Saviour in the air. Praise the Lord.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-18
We will now look at our favourite group of verses that expound the wonderful event of the Rapture.
During the few weeks Paul was with the believers in Thessalonica he preached emphatically about the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. They believed it earnestly and were expecting the Lord any moment. However when Paul had left they started to get anxious about the believers that had already died before Jesus came back. They worried that these believers may miss out on the Rapture.

Paul asked them NOT TO BE UNINFORMED!!!! The SAME goes for all believers today. Don’t be uninformed about the believers that have died and about the Rapture!!! Open the Holy Scriptures, the Bible and start studying the verses about the Rapture as pointed out on this website and let the Holy Spirit teach and guide you. If you do so prayerfully and with an open receptive heart you will soon be filled with the beautiful Blessed Hope of the IMMINENT return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church/Bride. This will give you an immediate new outlook on life! The passing away of loved ones is still a sad occasion but ALSO a joyful occasion! Unbelievers grieve when a loved one dies because they have NO hope! They may think they will meet up again in eternity, but they can’t be sure, they don’t know what happens when a person dies and goes to the other side. They have NO HOPE. We as believers In Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour we DO have a hope! The BLESSED HOPE. The RAPTURE. We know the moment a born again loved one dies he/she goes to be with the Lord in Paradise up in the Third Heaven. (More about this on the page “What happens when we die?”)
1 THESSALONIANS 4:14
As born again believers we believe that Jesus died for us on the Cross as the PERFECT SACRIFICE (as He was SINLESS) to pay the ultimate penalty for our sins in place of us (we are the sinners and we deserve to die for our sins), that He died on the Cross to pay that penalty, He was buried and that He rose again. The hope of life after death rests upon the belief that Jesus conquered death by rising from the dead.
As Jesus rose again He will also raise the born again believers at the Rapture, when the bodies of the deceased ones will be raised as supernatural eternal bodies and are united with the soul and spirit in the air at the Rapture. This will all happen in the twinkling of an eye.
When Paul uses the words “fallen asleep” this is a common expression implying death. The atoms of our physical body are in the earth (this implies the “sleeping”, while the soul and spirit are in Paradise up in the Third Heaven. (More about this on the page “What happens when we die).
1 THESSALONIANS 4:15
As the believers at Thessalonica were anxious that their loved ones who had died might miss out on the Rapture, Paul “informs” them that their fear was unjustified and continues by saying that the things he is writing to the believers at Thessalonica are not just his own words but the very WORD of the Lord Jesus Christ Who disclosed it to Paul through the Holy Spirit.
WILL NOT PRECEDE
Paul assured them that the believers that are alive at the Rapture would not meet the Lord in the air before the believers that had already died. Those who had died would not miss out!!
PAUL BELIEVED IN AND PREACHED THE IMMINENT RAPTURE
Now here we find the very exciting fact that Paul believed and preached the IMMINENT RAPTURE. Why? Because he includes himself as part of the believers who will be alive at the Rapture by saying “that WE who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord”. If Paul didn’t believe that he could be part of the believers who are alive at the Rapture he would have written it this way “that THEY who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord”. DON’T let anyone tell you otherwise! Paul believed in and preached the IMMINENT RAPTURE.
As Christians that are still alive we must not sit still and wait for the Lord. No, we must be active soul winners for the Lord by planting as many seeds (the Word of God) as possible so that God can bring the increase. We are the sowers, the people are the soil. The difference is never the seed but the ground it falls on.
1 THESSALONIANS 4:16
THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE RAPTURE
Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise! This is the WORD of God, nothing else. That Word tells us that at the moment of the Rapture the Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, will descend from Heaven. The moment Jesus ascended into Heaven (Luke 24:51) He took His place on the throne beside the Father where He has been our Mediator all this time. At the appointed time, when the Father tells His Son to go and receive His Bride, Jesus will descend from Heaven into the air (our atmosphere, more on this in our article “The three Heavens”). He is not coming down to the Earth as some writers say. No, He descends into the clouds in the AIR. 1 Thessalonians 4:17
How is He coming? With a SHOUT.
Most “solid” commentators believe that when John heard the voice telling him “Come up here” in Revelation 4:1 he portrayed the Rapture. What the shout will be we will SOON find out. May be “COME UP HERE”!
He is coming with the voice of the archangel.
The Bible only attributes the rank of archangel to Michael. Will it be Michael that calls out Come up here? We think it will be Jesus and Michael will say something else. Again we will find out soon. Whatever Michael will be calling out it will be music to our ears. It will be the greatest moment of obedience as “in a twinkling of an eye” we will have obeyed that shout!
With the trumpet of God.
What is the trumpet of God?
When John wrote in Revelation 1:10 about a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet we know from verses 17 and 18 that it was Jesus who was speaking. He heard the same voice again in Revelation 4:1 where he says that the voice he heard speaking to him in chapter 1 was the same voice he heard in chapter 4, which also sounded like a trumpet and says “Come up here!”. The same Greek word salpigx is used, meaning trumpet. This word is also used in 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16. The picture above shows the Shofar (Hebrew for trumpet) which was made from a ram’s horn and used by the tribes of Israel. We believe that the trumpet of God will be the voice of Jesus/God speaking/calling the “dead in Christ” to rise and the believers that are alive at the Rapture to come up in the air. The believers who had died since Pentecost will NOT miss out but will rise first! Remember all in the twinkling of an eye.
The bodies of the believers who have died since Pentecost (the beginning of the Church) are raised imperishable bodies, heavenly bodies, spiritual bodies that will be reunited with their spirit/soul when they are drawn up into the air to meet their Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Then, and only then will the believers, who are still alive at that moment, be changed from perishable earthy bodies into imperishable heavenly bodies and are caught up to meet their Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, in the air as well. That is when the Church/body of Christ will be COMPLETE. Jesus will then take us home to Heaven. What a meeting that will be when we meet the Lord in the air. There will be untold millions of believers and untold number of Angels praising the Lord with perfect heavenly voices.
We are with the Lord! What’s more, God’s Word tells us that we will ALWAYS be with God in Heaven. Forever and forever with GOD! Just imagine! What a BLESSED HOPE!
With al this information from God’s Word we have to comfort each other as the Rapture will keep us FROM the wrath of God that will soon come up on this evil world to TEST the people under the most evil government that has ever governed upon this Earth.
