DID GOD CREATE EVERYTHING IN 6 DAYS AND RESTED ON THE 7TH?
Thank God He has given us ALL the answers in His Holy Word, the Holy Bible.
NOTHING ELSE matters.
You either BELIEVE what the Scriptures say about creation or you DON’T BELIEVE.
Very simple.
Before we start looking at the creation we will first look at the CREATOR – THE ETERNAL, ALMIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL GOD.
God is Spirit. He has no material body.
God is eternal. He has no beginning and He has no end. He is timeless. He created time.
God is unique. He has no equal or like.
God is perfect. God is completely without any imperfections. Anything He does is perfect.
God is holy. He is completely separate from sin and evil.
God is omnipresent. God is everywhere at anytime. Nothing can contain Him.
God is omnipotent or all-powerful. Anything He wants to do He does.
God is omniscient. He knows everything and at anytime.
We can go on and on about God’s attributes. You can read more about them on our Topic page “God”.
We also know from the Scriptures that our God we describe above exists in the Trinity,
ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS – THE FATHER – THE SON – THE HOLY SPIRIT

As a Trinity God enjoyed a perfect, harmonious companionship with each other and in perfect divine glory.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit did not need anyone or anything else to add to this companionship.
In that eternal harmonious fellowship God, in His perfect will and wisdom, decided His creation in every detail.
He planned every detail according to His Divine Plan.
God created everything for His Glory. For the praise of His Glory displayed to us in His Amazing Grace through the sacrificial crucifixion death of His Son.
As He knows EVERYTHING from the beginning to the end, He PLANNED AND ORDAINED EVERYTHING AND AT THE
APPOINTED TIME, from the beginning to the end BEFORE anything was created.
We won’t go through al the days of creation but you can read about the 6 days of creation in Genesis 1:1-31 yourselves.
Remember what we wrote about God at the top.
Our almighty God did not need a BIG BANG from which all things came into existence taking billions of years according to Darwin and his followers who still believe in this folly.
GOD SPOKE AND EVERYTHING CAME INTO EXISTENCE. VERY SIMPLE, BUT VERY POWERFUL.
Psalm 33:9 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. There was no need for a big bang. God just spoke things into existence. Notice the sign above about Jesus being the WORD?
1 Corinthians 8:6 “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, and we EXIST THROUGH HIM.”
Colossians 1:16 For BY HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM.“
1 Colossians 1:17 “He is before all things, and IN HIM ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER.”
Here we see again the ALMIGHTYNESS of our God. He holds ALL things together. Now let us look at what we believe this means.
Yes this is the GOD we serve.
God knows everyone and everything and knows everything about everyone and everything at any given moment.
Of EVERYONE He knows every thought everyone has thought, is thinking and is going to think in future times. Read Psalm 139 and you will stand in awe of our Mighty God.
Of EVERYTHING He knows where everything is, what everything has done, is doing and will be doing in future times.
Have you ever watch a program of the Our Planet series where they are at the deep bottom of the ocean and all you can see is minute microbes teeming around by the trillions. God knows every one and where it has been in the past, is going at present and will be going in the future.
Again think of the grains of sand on all the beaches around the world and in the seas. He knows every single grain at anytime where it has been, where it is and where it will be going in the future.
Our cells in our bodies, He knows them all.
If anyone or anything was not in God’s KNOWING that anyone or anything could not exist. That does not mean that everything around us, including the universe, is God, like one false religion teaches.
May it never be said.
God KNOWS about everyone and everything at any time and even before time was created He already knew everything what was going to happen in His creation. We hope you can get your thoughts around this and that you are getting a clearer picture of the mighty God we are serving.
NOTHING CAN EXIST UNLESS GOD KNOWS ABOUT IT.
LETS LOOK AT THE HUMAN BODY
Most people take their body for granted. How many take the time to sit quietly in a chair and thoughtfully consider the beauty of the makeup of the human body.
Remember God made Adam out of the dust of the earth.
Genesis 2:7 “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
When Adam was created he wasn’t created as a baby but as a man. Some of us believe that he may have had the development of the age about 30 years.
Then God proceeded to make Eve in Genesis 2:21-22 “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.”
After Adam’s sin they came together as husband and wife (Genesis 2:25) and had children by coming together within their marriage. YES Scriptures clearly states that MARRIAGE has existed from the time of the first couple.
Now let us look at what the Scriptures tell us of the human body.
Lets read Psalm 139 (one of our favourite Psalms) :
Psalm 139:13 “For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:14 “I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”
The moment a male’s sperm and a female’s egg join together at conception an amazing and wonderful act of creation starts. When the ovum is fertilised by the male sperm it starts multiplying rapidly. The amazing thing is that each cell is programmed/designed by God the Creator and each cell will, at its appointed time, develop into what it has been programmed to be. Some will be cells of our flesh, muscles, skin, veins/arteries, hairs, organs, bones etc.
Without going into all the details, which probably would take 50,000 years to write, you can complete the picture for yourself. One of the amazing facts is that each person has a unique fingerprint! At the moment of conception the embryo has a soul.
Psalm 139:15 “My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;”
Psalm 139:16 “YOUR EYES HAVE SEEN MY UNFORMED SUBSTANCE; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.”
Did you get that? Before Before conception has taken place God has already seen the substance of the inborn. What is substance?
Do you see the complexity of the make up of an eye? This is only a chart showing all the parts of an eye. It doesn’t tell you all the complex and interwoven functions all these many parts have. All those functions that are performed are communicated to the brain for processing so we know what we are looking at and know the beauty of what we see. (Provided you are looking at something beautiful.)
Do you think that a big bang and evolution could create something so delicate and complex? Or design all the individual parts of an eye, putting the parts in their proper places, giving them each their own functions, etc, etc. We are only talking about the whole eye. We can start braking the eye down in all its parts and look at the composition of each part and the functions of each part, etc, etc.
We can move to the heart, the lungs, the brain, the blood, the arteries, the ears, the nose, etc, etc.
We can look at the mouth with its tongue, taste buds, teeth, saliva etc, etc.
When have you ever sat still for a moment before you ate something and contemplated the amazing things that are happening when you eat something.
People give thanks for the food they are going to eat and that is good, so they should.
Have you ever thanked God for the taste buds in your mouth that allow you to taste beautiful flavours God put in His creation of foods, which are there so you can enjoy the foods?
Have you ever praised the Lord and thanked Him for the goodness He has put in foods so that we can be healthy and grow? Yes, most people take all these things for granted.
When you take your medication have you ever considered the medicinal qualities He has put in plants etc and the knowledge He has put in pharmaceutical peoples’ minds to make the medications and thanked Him for it?
God made everything for His Glory.
Psalm 19:1 “The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.”
Now let us look at the beautiful wonders of seed bearing plants and seed bearing trees. This part of creation is also amazing and a joy to meditate upon. You will discover wonder after wonder.
Have you ever sit still and studied the many different plants and trees that produce the most intriguing seeds.
Before we go further into this lets look at Genesis 1:11-12 “Then God SAID, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them”; and it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.”
God ‘s Word SPOKE the creation into existence. He doesn’t need to use big bang and wait billions of years for things to develop! God just speaks the WORD and it is so. Easy, beautiful, powerful and wonderful. Only the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD can do this.
He is the God we BELIEVE in, TRUST in, HOPE in and receive FAITH from, to belief, trust and hope in His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
Now let us look at some of the wonders of the seed yielding plants and trees yielding fruits with seeds in them.
Let me start with one weed that really intrigues me over and over again and is a real pain for the gardener.
It is the Hairy Bittercress (or Popping Cress) which starts of as a small green weed, which, even at its smallest stage produces a thin stalk that in turn produces lovely white flowers. That is the time you have to remove it from your garden. Once it goes past the flowering stage the flowers change into thin long seed pods full of seeds. The moment you touch the pods to pull the weed, they explode and shoot their seeds a good distance, sometimes hitting you in the face. They are obviously a result of Adam’s sin but nevertheless an amazing little plant to behold.
There are many plants and trees that explode their seed pods and spreading them meters around the ground. One that can make really good popping noises is the common broom. Their seeds can explode to a very good distance.
Now let us look at some of the trees that produce eatable nuts. We all love nuts and there are so many eatable nuts we can choose from.
We’ll look at one of the trees that produces one of the healthiest nuts, the Walnut Tree.
Below you can see the whole process, from seed to seed.
That is such an amazing creation which only the TRUE ALMIGHTY GOD can create.
Lets look at the CRAZY idea of the big bang and evolution!
The big bang happens. After billions of years a cell forms, which turns into two cells, then into four cells, etc, etc.
Of all the different creations that arrived on the Earth, the cells yell out, let us become a walnut. They scratch their cell-heads and wonder should we first become a tree and then the nut or should we first be the nut and then the tree. Once they have decided (after a few million of years) to be a nut first, they the have to figure out (taking another few million years) how to become a tree, then have branches, leaves, flowers, green fruits, ripe fruits, nuts (seeds) inside the fruits, etc, etc. All of a sudden they realise they need soil, rain, sunshine etc.
Are you getting the picture how ridiculous that whole theory is. We are only talking about the Walnut Tree. There are about 2000 different types of fruits in the world. Then there are the vegetables, the plants, the flowers, the other trees and we haven’t even started on the insects, the animals, the fish, the birds etc.
Quick question: Which came first, the walnut seed or the walnut tree?
Answer from God’s Word: Genesis 2:9 “Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food;”
Yes it was the seeds that God created in the ground and which He CAUSED TO GROW OUT OF THE GROUND into TREES that produced food and were pleasing to look at.
I love trees, big and small, all colours, evergreen or deciduous. In 1989 I planted an acorn in a small flower pot and it grew into a small bonsai style tree. After 32 years of enjoying the beautiful little oak tree and caring for it, I slipped up. We had a very hot summer and I forgot to water it and yes, I killed it. That was sad because the little tree was like a little friend for 32 years, bouncing back every year after cold winters. The Oak Tree ia not a tree for food that we could eat, but it is food for a good number of animals. When you look at Genesis 2:9 again you read that God caused trees to grow that produced food and others were pleasant to look at.
First the seed gets planted int the ground.
The seed grows into a wonderful walnut tree.
The walnut flower blooms.
The flowers turn into fruits, here ready to burst open.
The walnut fruit opens ready to drop the ripe nut,
The walnut seeds have been taken out of their shells, ready to eat.
One tree that is one of our favourites and is pleasing to the eyes all year round is the common Horse Chestnut. Unlike the Sweet Chestnut, which is eatable for humans, the Horse Chestnut is a majestic tree that can grow into a beautiful big tree. In Spring it produces clusters of white flowers that stand upright like Christmas trees. These turn into chestnut fruits during summer and in Autumn they ripen and burst open spilling out the lovely dark reddish brown chestnuts. In Autumn time the leaves take on the most beautiful Autumn colours, falling to the ground and creating a carpet of pure delightful colours. There are about 14 kind of animals that feed on chestnuts but we humans can enjoy the majestic beauty of the trees, a majestic beauty CREATED by a LOVING WISE GOD for His creation to enjoy! All one can do is PRAISE AND THANK THE LORD for His love, wisdom and power. You see, a big bang would evolve things by chance (if this ridiculous theory was true as evolutionists claim) but our ALMIGHTY GOD created everything for their amazing purposes. As a child I use to climb in Horse Chestnut and Oak Trees and sit there for one two hours just enjoying the beauty, the peaceful sounds of the wind blowing through the leaves, the birds that popped in. I enjoyed all this even at that age but didn’t understand the true knowledge of the creation. Now at a ripe old age and as solid Christian I can understand and appreciate the creation the way we are meant to do, although I can’t climb the trees anymore like I used to do.

Jesus Christ is Saviour God and the Creator God, but as He is the Second Person of the Trinity and One with the Father and Holy Spirit, we say that everything exists and is created by the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD.
There is NO OTHER GOD besides Him.
He ALONE is God. He will ALWAYS be the ONLY TRUE GOD.
EVERYTHING ELSE is creation. Created BY God. We are not God and nothing else that is created is God like some false religions claim.
Isaiah 45:5 “I am the LORD, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God.”
To God belongs ALL GLORY. Don’t give glory to anybody or anything else!
Isaiah 42:9 ““I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.”
The tribes of Israel changed the glory of God to the glory of idols and paid the consequences for doing so. If you read the Bible from cover to cover every year you will start to understand that the MOST IMPORTANT thing God wants from us is OBEDIENCE.
